A HEART FOR CHINA'S ORPHANS

The People's Republic of China accounts for about 1.2 billion people. According to the general statistics in the Republic of China, the city orphanages house more than 16,000 orphaned and abandoned babies not including the ones in the countryside. From these statistics, one can easily see that there is a vast amount of needs to be met in order to help with the orphans, orphanages, and the adoption process with China.

Knowing the need for orphans and abandoned children to find loving homes, and be provided for with food and adequate medical provisions; Kenneth Yeung, President of Prince of Peace® Enterprises, Inc., set out to gather resources and information on how to help. In 1994, he began to fulfill a long awaited vision in the field of social work. Concurrently with his own adoption experience, he began to take steps to further the United States work in helping these needy children and POP's Foundation was born.

POP - a child's term for father. We would like to refer to the Big POP. A God that loves all his children and whom we all can belong. POP's Foundation was created to bring the love of God to orphans and families. With bilingual abilities, and cultural understanding, we are an organization established to fill various needs in the United States and aid children in China. But most of all, we begin with God's unconditional love.

PRINCE OF PEACE® CHILDREN'S HOME

A long awaited dream is being fulfilled! Pictured is a photo of our Prince of Peace® Children's Home completed in July 2003 in Tianjin, China. This will be the first orphanage and rehabilitation center of its type: for the first time in history, the Chinese Government is allowing a United States organization to build, staff and manage an orphanage in China. In addition to the blessing of the Chinese government, World Vision International (a prominent children's relief agency) has partnered with Prince of Peace® in this endeavor. The first phase of the project will house up to 120 handicapped orphans. The second phase will be running a foster care program for several hundred abandoned children. Our aim is to set a new standard of love and care for orphanages throughout China. As the orphanage will begin operation in Oct '03, we are all excited about the many ways the Prince of Peace® Children's Home will make a difference in the many lives it touches.

OUR OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS

With a vision not only to do business, but to contribute to the future of our world, Prince of Peace® uses a portion of its profits to benefit society. Some of the projects include contributions to rebuild areas destroyed by floods in China. Along with the organizations Educational Resources and Referrals - China (ERRC) and Professional and Educational Services International, Inc. (PESI), we provide business leadership conferences in China and Hong Kong through resource materials, finances and educators. Through World Vision, we sent relief funds to China, Somalia and other African countries suffering from drought and famine. In attempt to better society and stand by our beliefs, we are substantial contributors to Chuck Coleson's Prison Fellowship.

Locally, we have contributed more than several $100K's worth of food and beverages to charitable organizations such as Food Banks, Self-Help for the Elderly and the Salvation Army.
