2025 CHTA Chinese Medicine Cooking Competition, organized by the Chinese Herb Trade Assn of America (CHTA), Sing Tao Daily, and Sing Tao TV, was held in San Francisco on August 31. The event brought together many culinary enthusiasts, and the venue was filled with the aromatic blend of herbs and delicious food.
As a major sponsor, Prince of Peace Ent., Inc. is dedicated to promoting Chinese culture and the health benefits of American Ginseng. The company hopes to use this platform to help more people understand how to use American Ginseng in medicinal cuisine and experience its nourishing properties. Prince of Peace was also invited to serve on the judging panel, where he and other judges evaluated dishes on their creativity, herbal proportions, ingredient compatibility, health benefits, and flavor.
Throughout the competition, teams demonstrated incredible creativity by skillfully using American Ginseng and other herbs in their dishes. Notably, the ABC Er Chu team from a Bay Area Michelin-starred restaurant prepared a dish called "Autumn Cod" with American Ginseng. This dish masterfully combined the fresh aroma of American Ginseng with the delicious flavor of cod, earning high praise from the judges.
This competition was more than just a culinary contest; it was a wonderful opportunity to pass on and innovate upon Chinese medicinal cuisine culture. Through the contestants' creations, the nourishing charm of American Ginseng was fully showcased, allowing more people to appreciate its unique value.
