At POP's Foundation, we believe in the power of community collaboration to drive positive change. That's why we're thrilled to share the incredible results of our partnership with the 49ers and Mobilize Love!
We recently sponsored a local ministry by matching a 49er player's contribution to fund a new van for Mobilize Love. This project came to life thanks to a generous $40,000 lead gift from the 49ers, which we were honored to commit to matching.
The result is the officially unveiled Mobilize Love Barber Van—and it looks incredible! This beautiful, new vehicle will now be deployed across the Bay Area to meet the needs of children and families in meaningful, tangible ways.
The Barber Van, a donation from 49er player Curtis Robinson through his WPMOY nomination, is already a powerful expression of what happens when we come together to serve our community.
Mobilize Love exists to "SHOW UP and GIVE HOPE". They use outreach trucks to provide mobile after-school programs and mobile human services, establishing a faithful presence in under-resourced communities. They focus on meeting physical needs and teaching personal life skills, announcing the reign of Christ with every act of service. This is the Gospel in action—living out justice, mercy, compassion, and truth visibly and tangibly.
We are so proud to have the Prince of Peace, Ginger and Tiger Balm logos displayed on the truck and are deeply grateful for this continued partnership. This project is a testament to the belief that sometimes, showing up is the sermon.
